Hello,
now it´s official. A new iPod is coming. "10:44 -- Job announced a new iPod called the iPod Nano: "1,000 songs in your pocket and impossibly small," Jobs said. It's "thinner than a No. 2 pencil," he said to oohs and aahs from the audience. "The iPod Nano is 80 percent smaller than the original iPod."" I must say, I´m a bit disappointed, but I´m very excited seeing this thing. But who needs such a small thing? What´s up with the shuffles?! Will they still be available, after the Nano is on the market?

It is absolutely fantastic except one thing..... the battery..... 14 hours is a bit rotten. Id have preferred it a bit bigger and better life. I darent imagine what this will translate to in real battery performance.....10 hours?

Announced today, the iPod Nano
At first I thought it was a replacement for the shuffle, but it appears not to be. Interesting, but I won't be getting one.....

The shuffles will still be around. This nano is replacing the minis it seems.

Bad name.
Says "midget." Reminds of me of that short guy in [i/]Fantasy Island[/i], of Robin Williams' "Come in Nanoo!"

It looks almost like you could snap it... Looks kinda strange, but cool, in a strange way...

The new iPod Nano makes my 4G iPod B&W look sooo old.
The iPod family now, finaly, looks similar!

If you look at the apple web site, it appears that this is a replacement for the mini.

I don't have a need for one, as its really just a new mini but for those who where thinking mini, its a great option. And for those debating between mini and shuffle.

Sleek thingy... Just ordered the black one. Just perfect for me. I have the 3g 30 gb. And it's a bit big for training and everyday use. Nano is smaller than the mini and has a color screen (shuffle) PErfect. Can't wait.
