Got the Capdase brushed aluminum case with the rubber inner-layer. With this case on, my mini looks like a TANK. Protection all over minus the top and the click wheel (which I solved by cutting out part of an overhead sheet). All in all, great case.

Only drawback is that now my iPod weighs like a tank.

My 2g 4gb Mini is on route from Apple, and i wanna get a really good case for it, cause i am very clumsy and don't wanna wreck my ipod. I have read the review of the Capdacase Metal case on this wonderful site and reading what 2 other people posted in the thread about the case make's me think that it is a really solid case and i might get one. I am just wonder where the best place to get one is? I went to the site that was on the page of the review and it is priced really well on there, i am just wondering if there are any places in Canada or the US that sells them?

I wouldn't buy any other case than a Vaja case. All leather and it's worth the price. Since the case is shipped from South America it takes 25 days but when you open the box you know you have THE BEST CASE.

I mean it only takes a couple of days for shipping, but 25 days to make the case since it's custom made.

This is just my opinion, but I personally don't like leather cases. If it were me, I would just go with the Capdase metal case, and since I'm going to go to Hong Kong soon, I can just buy direct.

to me spending $60+ on a case doesn't sound like fun to me.

When i get enough money in my paypal account i am gonna get a Capdacase.

Actually it's $81 total for shipping/belt clip. I just ordered another one (Barn red) just for the hell of it. That's how much I love their cases.

$81US is around $102CDN which is way too much money i would ever spend on a case, i am in the process of putting money in my paypal account to purchase a Capdacase, which is more of my price range. now all i have to decide is Brushed or Smooth, i leaning more towards the Brushed look.

I'd go for the brushed look. Whatever you like though.
