ARFG@$(!$! look what happend with my ipod

i was skating awhile ago. and i had it in my pocket. i usually have it in a metal case but i forgot it this time. and i was ollieing a set of stairs, then i bailed out and landed on my side where the ipod was. suprisingly it still works just fine

now do you think i can somehow get ipod to fix this on a basic warranty. and if not can i still buy the ipod care package now, after i already bouhgt the ipod?

Look closer... the screen is shattered on the inside, and the lcd crystals (or whatever) are leaking inside the screen.

I doubt this would be covered under the warrenty because the damage caused to the iPod was your fault.

Ohh.. I see it now. That is very bad.. and I don't think the warranty covers accidents. You could always say that it came like that but you didn't get to use it since you were on vacation or something.

Will not be covered by warrenty or apple care as it is not manufacturers defect.

I think Apple might replace them. I think you should email them with the picture and ask them yourself.

You could try replacing it yourself also. They aren't THAT hard to take apart.
