Nope. You are stuck with the ones Apple gives you unless you want to install iPodlinux on it.

u can get text games, whihc is llike a story where u select a option at the end,

they don't have any grpahics and is alltext based surprisingly, personally they arn't very good....

How safe is the iPod Linux it looks pretty cool but I don't want to screw up my iPod.

I'm not sure if Linux is available for the 4G iPods and iPod minis, but i know it definately works with the 3Gs. Linux gives you a number of new features including several new games, and upon startup you can choose whether to boot up the Linux or the Apple firmware. Haven't tried it myself...too scared.
