just purchased ipod and have fast computer
cant beleive a 300 MB download from computer to ipod would take more than 3 hours and still not finished is this normal? any ideas would be much appreciated thanks |

No, it's not at all normal. Are you sure that you have USB 2.0? You should be able to check through your hardware profile. I think that if your USB Root Hub is powered, you have USB 2.0. If not, go get a USB 2.0 card.

i am using firewire connection aboted the last transfer and am trying to load one 4 MB song from the library and its 7 minutes with no result just says do not disconnect |

finally figured out that I had disabled auto update wonder why the ipod indicates its downloading stuff when its actually doing nothing thanks |
