Specs:
3G 10GB Four Month Old top of the line Toshiba Laptop Everything worked normally for until a week or so ago. Songs begin to transfer then the transfer freezes and Itunes does not respond. In addition my comp sometimes freezes during this process. Cont+ALT+Del doesn't work to shut down ITunes so I end up manually shutting down my comp. Transferring ususally works for a while if I transfer like 5 songs at a time, but it always ends up freezing. I had a similar problem with my old comp (an old Dell laptop that has since been replaced). Note: I don't know if this is relevant, but I download music (all legal and never through programs such as KaZaa) using BitTorrent as well as from webpages such as live concerts from archive.org. Also, I installed the IPod Agent to my comp a few weeks back, which allows me to transfer music from my Ipod to my Comp. Thanks for any and all suggestions. |

UPDATE:
I just tried transferring music on my work computer (Windows 2000 Professional that I've been using to transfer music for more than a year now) and the same thing happened. I also forgot to mention that my ipod has also frozen while transferring (the 'do not disconnnect' stops flashing) so I have to manually restart that as well. |
