I received my new 4G this past Monday. Since then, I haven't thought that I was getting as good battery life as I should have been. Last night, I went to bed around midnight and just started playing my songs from the beginning. I had to get up this morning at 6:45 to let my dog out and already the battery had died. So, I got less than 7 hours of battery life from a full charge with no imput from me.
What say you? Should I contact Apple? Thanks, Richard

Did you go through a full charge cycle prior to your test? The first one or two charge cycles may be shorter... if you try it again, it might be better.
