OK so now my iPod has ridiculous static. Anytime I touch the wheel the static comes. I think it's def the problem that was identified early last yr. I bought my mini in feb 04 so it's one of the first mini's. I remember reading last year that there was a problem with the headphone jack pulling and causing static. I'm fed up with this thing. I had battery issues but was able to work through it by restoring.
Can I bring it into an Apple store and get a new one or are they going to make me send it out for repair? This is obviously a manufacturer's defect. I think it's ridiculous that I would have to spend $30 on shipping and get a refurbished one. Anybody have any suggestions or stories? |

Take it to the Apple store and explain your problem what they are going to tell you??? But they may just exchange it.
