does an ipod have a radio?? if not, can u do this in itunes and add it to the ipod?

No, the above would work for listening to music in iTunes only. Radio stations are still streaming sources (audio that comes in across the Internet), as opposed to music files that live on your hard drive.
iTunes won't record radio stations, and since your iPod is not capable of connecting to the Internet, you wouldn't have anything to listen to. I'm pretty sure that any radio station links that you have in iTunes simply won't appear on the iPod, even if they're in a playlist.
