i personally dont think this is ture but my friend says he has a special edtion all white ipod from apple.com did they really have this?

Well, 3G's are all white (on the front).... but are not special editions. The only special edition now is the U2, and it's definitely not white.

Bucket o' paint does wonders. Go to home depot or something and you could have whatever color you want your ipod to be, you might just have a hard time plugging in headphones with all the paint crammed in there.
