I'm a new iPod mini owner :)

I got the iPod mini for free, it was a offer from my ISP. (Un)fortunately they only had pink available, but I took it anyway.

I'm male and straight if you're wondering

I wonder how others would think if I walked down the street holding a pink mini in my hand?

BTW my click wheel seems a little loose (a little shaky when there's too much friction), is that normal?

Congrats on your free iPod. I will be getting my mini on x-mas eve.

Regarding the click wheel take it into an Apple Store and have the geniuses look at it. They'll tell you if it needs fixing.

Yeah, I might go down but I'm a bit lazy. I don't live in the U.S and I don't think there's an Apple Store nearby (or maybe not even in Singapore).

I guess pink is unique

Seems to be related to the fact that the buttons on the click wheel are mechanical... Is it normal for it to wobble abit when u use force on the wheel?

You got it off Singtel? I thought they only had the Gold ones? We don't have Apple stores in Singapore but there are Applecenters without genius bars. There are 3 Apple authorized repair centers in Singapore. You can call Apple (http://www.apple.com.sg) and they'll direct you to the ones who can help 'ya!

They have all five colours. I collected mine at Sim Lim Square. On 19/12 all colours were available, one day later only pink's left.

I don't think I'll be going down as it's only a minor problem... I don't think they'll replace mine just for that.

The problem is not obvious... IIRC during SITEX 2004 the iPod minis had this problem as well... perhaps its meant to be like this?

Registering it could work, and I think the bar codes are iPod speciffic.
