I just got my girlfriend a new iPod for christmas, and I think it would be nice if I put some music on it for her. What are the cons of doing that?
Will it make it more difficult for her to use on her own computer later? Thanks! Thomas |

Welcome to the lounge. Just make sure before you give it to her to set the iPod to manual (Edit>Preferences>iPod) so that iTunes will not erase the iPod when she connects it to her PC.
You can also give her the songs on an MP3 CD so she will have them just in case.

unless you live with her, I wouldn't suggest doing that, it would just get too complicating with the different computers and the manual syncing and stuff

you should not open the pacakge.. that just ruins it for her.. but you could burn ur songs on a cd as honeybee has said, where you can include it when you package ur present up..
