Does anybody know if the iPod Photo's stated playback time of 15 hours is with or without the backlight on? When I was at the Indianapolis Apple Store the other day I noticed the screen is pretty hard to see without the backlight on.

Just set the backlight to go on when you touch a control, and off a few seconds after. That's as good for use as having it always on--but uses very little battery. Unless you plan to mess with the controls for a solid 15 hours
