When I put the iPod into the dock for transfer of more songs, iTunes tells me I have used 28.09 gigs and have 9.06 gigs left available. BUT....when I take the iPod out, and go to the "about" screen, it says I have 25.6 out of 37.1 gigs available.
Now, I know this can't be right, cause I've got over 4500 songs on it. Why would the "about" screen be so off?

Evidently there's a bug in this version of the firmware.
I think people have said that you can reset it, reload the music onto it, and it should correct the problem. Did you format it yourself or is it still formtted from the factory?
