I have a 4th generation ipod and love it but the only thing I can't stand is how it keeps playing songs after a song is finished playing. So my question how do I get my ipod to stop playing after a song is finished playing? Any scripts or any advise would be helpful!

Welcome to the lounge. The only way the iPod will stop playing is if your listening to a song by someone and it is the only song by that artist that you have listed. Anytime you play a playlist or album, all songs listed under it will play until the last song. You have to manually stop the iPod from playing at the end of a song that is in a list of songs.

Is there any other way to stop the song without manually stopping it or the other things you listed. Maybe a script might work. I find it hard to believe that nobodys invented software for this on your computer so you can stop this problem.

Add it to a new On The Go Playlist, then play that playlist.
