My New Ipod Has a couple of errors

Ok guys I recenty got myself a touchwheel 20 gig ipod its been out of the package for 2 days and it has the following problems.

It starts up and displays the apple logo and then displays a folder with an exclamation mark then a do not disconnect message then restarts itself and repeats the above.
Also ive tried restoring it resetting it ive tried everything the apple site says to do but no luck

I mannaged to get like 4 songs on there before it went haywire. Does any one have any idea how to fix it at all please contact me at total_roach@hotmail.com or pm me here Because Im not sure ill remember to come back here But ill try.

Welcome to the lounge. You need to restore the iPod. Use the updater and try to mount the iPod, once mounted, click the 'restore' button. This will set it back to it's factory settings.

Yeah I tried that with the updatr software but it wont dock

the smae thing happened to me after i had it for a week. i bought form amazon and they are replacing it. i guess we're part of the unlucky ipod defect club
