I have run several times with my Mini in hot, humid weather and it has malfunctioned -- i.e., the click wheel doesn't work properly, the light goes on and won't shut off, and on and on. Resetting doesn't work. However, after about a day, the iPod "recovers" and works fine. Apple is not much help on this point.
Has anyone else had this happen? Could it be hot weather, sweat, jostling while running? |

I use my Mini in the gym for up to 2 hours and never have a problem.
I also do a lot of running. The Mini is kept in my shorts and the screen gets covered in sweat, but I do use a skin that has the click wheel protection. |

I haven't had that problem, but I wear my mini around my neck attached to a lanyard. Only time it skips is during my cardio run after about 30 minutes...and that's only rarely. Perhaps it is the humidity + water....

Maybe a stupid question but where do you carry your mini when jogging ?.
I know someone who carried it in his shorts and he had the same problem
