Hi everyone,
i'm new to these forums and i was wondering if any of you could poissibly help me out with the following problem i've encountered... i've had an Ipod for about 2 months now...ever since i got it the play/pause button's backlight has not been as bright as the other 3 buttons but that's something i took for granted... however ever since about a week it has been refusing to recharge using the AC adapter...by now the battery is completely dead and it won't do anything at all anymore, not even show the 'battery empty' icon...neither can i turn it on or reset it... I'm using USB/XP and have a 3G 15GB Ipod and neither the dock connector nor the AC adapter's wire looks faulty... i really hope that anyone of you can help me out here because i really miss my music :/ Thanks in advance... |

what are the odds that it is in fact my cable or AC adapter that's faulty?...nothing has happened to my ipod that could have done any damage (i've never dropped it or anything)...
the reason why im so desperate on solving this myself is because i lost the receipt somehow... ![]() this does mean that i cannot have it fixed at no charge doesn't it? ![]() thanks for the help in advance... |

Thanks so much for your help
![]() Model: Factory: JQ Production year: 2004 Production week: 11 (March) Production number: 6540 (within this week) mhm...i bought it off amazon.com and i just noticed you can reprint your invoice there... would that be enough to convince Apple customer service?...i've read enough on these forums to know that theyre not very forgiving most of the time

if you've got the receipt that proves it's within warranty then there shouldn't be a problem - customer service is a bit of a lottery with any company...! some people here will swear that apple are a shopfront for the devil himself : ) personally when i sent in my iPod there was no probs even though i had bought it from an ebayer outside ebay!!
hope it works out : )
