New iPod Keypad

Can you solve this argument?

I think the very newest ipod (thinking 40GB if it makes any dirrerence!) has had the keypad slightly 'softened to the touch'. i.e. the edges of the buttons and thumbwheel are no longer a sharp ridge, but are more gently contoured.

I don't have a new one to hand, but it would help solve a 'pub argument'!

Cheers

mine is sharp. i dont know how sharp the old ones were, but the edges of the wheel are pretty, i'd say v. close if not at 90 degrees. The buttons are a little harder to judge, because they are smaller.
One thing i don't understand though, is on the old ones the buttons were around the wheel - how would the contours work - i haven't seen an old iPod in about 2.5-3 years, so i don't remember.
