extra tough case

needed a tough case to hold ipod in. one i could just put the ipod in close the lid and throw it in my backpack. found this cool case. the pelican 1010 microcase. fits great. no worries now. just thought someone might need a case thats tough. not for everyone is bulky.

Why not a flipstand case? It does add a little bulk, but not as much as the one you are talking about.

How are you going to be able to use your ipod through that case? Are you going to drill a hole in order to attach your headphones?

the case is for transporting my ipod around after i throw it in my backpack. i needed something tough. i carry a lot of #### around in my pack when out and i wanted something tough. when i need to listen to the pod i just take it out and hold it in my hand. its only in the case when not in use.

Hey - neat idea. I've been thinking of something like this for taking on canoe trips (if I think that it's worth taking it on a canoe trip... don't I want to get away from technology while I'm out there?). And I go to MEC all the time, so I'll have to check it out the next time I'm there. For anyone else who's interested, a link to the product is here.
