Top 25 Playlist keeps going out of order

I was able to get my top 25 to be in the correct order after going into itunes and clicking the play count column twice (to reverse and then go back). This made iTunes think I change it and it synced with the iPod. The list was in the right order and I have been using it for a little while since then (without reconnecting it to my computer) and the list has resorted itself without any logic to it (the order is completely random). Shuffle isn't on. Does anybody know what's going on?

I have a similar problem with my "Recently Played" smart playlist, the order reverses itself on it's own on my Ipod (while still appearing correctly sorted in iTunes). I've read about this issue here on these forums before, so I think it is some sort of "bug" with the iPod that hopefully Apple can correct in the future.
