Old 2nd Generation iPod found, pretty sweet toy, I want to use it but it will not charge. I am assuming it is just a simple battery issue maybe it is too old or something, anyways I'm looking for a cheap DIY solution, any help? thanks

Sounds like a pretty good project. If you can find a battery, I believe 1 and 2G ipods had the same battery, go to iFixit: The free repair manual for guides.
