Hi,
I have a 6th gen 160GB hard drive and I recently got researching the 240GB upgradeable hard drive and I am going to buy it. I was really curious about something though, is there any possible way that you could mod the ipod so that both of the drives could be working for it, or working as one? Have a custom backing so that you could fit both in, and have 400GB of space? |

You would have to do a ton of hardware changes that by the time you're done it won't even be an iPod anymore. You couldn't have the Apple firmware on there it would have to be Rockbox. To sum this up it's not worth you time and I'm 99.99% sure this would never work.
