I own a First ever iPod and need a charging cable. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to buy one? Thanks

Well, if it truly is a first generation iPod (the one released back in 2001 available only in 5GB and 10GB capacities), you will be stuck using something like the Amazon Marketplace or eBay. You will need an AC adapter that outputs power using the FireWire standard and has a 6-pin FireWire 400 port on it. You will then need a male-to-male 6-pin FireWire 400 cable to plug into the AC adapter and iPod. That type of setup will also be required for the second generation iPod (released in 2002 using only 10GB and 20GB capacities).
