Well I bought a refurb 60gb iPod photo and it worked fine. Except when I got it, After only using it for a couple of hours, it would just die when I started a song even though the battery indicator was still well into the green. So I sent it back and got another refurb. Now this one seems to do the same thing. After a little while, even though it still seems to have plenty of battery, it'll flash the "low battery" screen, and die. Then if I can get it to start, the battery will have a sliver of red, after a bit it goes back into the green, but dies again if I try to do something. Does this just sound like a bad battery? Is it possible the battery just can't hold enough energy, but it deceives the iPod's battery indicator? If so i'm gonna order a new battery. Has anyone heard anything bad about the higher capacity batteries from iPodjuice.com?

Hi Tony, do you know if they replaced the battery on these refurbished models? It could very well be an actual iPod that was returned and they replaced only parts that were defective. I know Apple usually replaces the battery and outer case/shell when you buy refurbished iPods from them.

Thank you so much for the reply! lol Well it seemed like a legit refurb, but i'm not sure if it was an Apple refurb. If that makes any sense. The weird thing is, I bought one iPod from the guy on ebay and it did the exact same thing, he exchanged it no questions asked, but it was weird that they both turned up with the same problem.
