Post Text files

Hey everybody!

Does anyone know if there is any way how to put text onto an iPod Classic 80gb?

Thanks,

Go into iTunes, go to your iPod, set it to disk use. Press start on the bottom left of your monitor, click "My Computer" Than there should be something called like "Youripodsname(F" go into that. There should be a notes folder. Drag any text documents into that. You can then read them on your ipod.

Thanks, man!

Does the text have to be in a certain format, like notepad?

Notepad is best - no fiddly text formatting to confuse the ipod.

The F is, it's a known limitation of the iPod that it can only read 4K files and no bigger.

There are work-arounds though, when u calm down, u can ask.
