When you go to restore (the unit did it itself) you're going to be forced to restore to 1.1.3 to keep your backed-up settings. Otherwise you'll need to start fresh. Additionally, the menu on your ipod might look a little strange since this will create missing icons in weird places.

I haven't had that issue. May depend on the method you used for the 1.1.3 jailbreak. The Nate True method caused a lot of problems with everything from the springboard to mail.

Found on a Firewire cable - If you need to detain a burglar until the authorities arrive, this FireWire cable can render approximately three perpetrators immobile when properly hog-tied.

I used the "official" soft upgrade.

Weird - I used one of the "official" ones (since in addition to the official ones, several people repackaged it to run directly from the Installer) that was just released this weekend, and I don't have this problem. No clue... Nate True's may be easy, but there were many issues - hopefully you don't have problems with DRM or Mail or installing more apps when the SDK comes up...
