Hi,
A colleague has lost all of his data on his hard drive, and would like to recover the photos and music from his iPod - is this possible? I swore it was, but I can't really find anything useful through Google. Thanks |

I had to do that recently actually. I got a 160gb classic ( upgraded from a 3rd Gen ipod, which lasted me until a couple of months ago surprisingly.
Anyways, I'm new to the forum so I don't know if its allowed to talk about such programs or not, but I used iDump to grab all the music on my old ipod. Google it

Unfortunately, his photos were probably optimized for the iPod, so they won't be print quality, although they should be fine on a computer.
There are plenty of programs out there though, and iLounge even has an article about it under the "Help!" section: http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/art...d-to-computer/
