iPod Video firmware on Classic

Does anyone know how, or even if it's possible to put the iPod 5.5G firmware (1.2.3 I believe) on the Classic? I don't want the album art scrolling by or anything, just a simple menu.

No I don't think anyone has ported the 5G firmware to the classic...after all they both run on completely different chipsets.

I Sure Hope Apple will do backwards compatibilty next time, it's more advanced, but it doesn't mean it cannot handle older firmwares. or let apple let us customize our menu, e.g we can remove the split screen. etc. you can remove the coverflow in the music menu in the setings pane.
