Don't want to always sync my ipod to itunes

There was a thread that said to hold down the Ctrl key and one more key if you did not want to sync your Ipod. Does anyone know what that second key is? Thanks

Holding Control and Shift until your iPod shows up in the source column prevents an auto-sync.

iTunes 7.5 also has a new setting (Edit/Preferences/Syncing) where you can choose to never automatically sync your iPod, forcing you to manually initiate an auto-sync. Haven't tried it though ...

That new disable feature is going to be a god send.... Freakin' amazing. Taken forever for Apple to give us something like this a way to disable autosync without connecting the iPod.

Just tried it. Works like a champ.
