Does the new classic ...

Just one query to start (and perhaps other users can add their queries (and answers!) below mine as they arise):

1) Does the new 160Gb classic still have the TV out option via the headphone jack that the 5.5G had? I used this to watch videos via my tv.

and 2) Will it still work with my Griffin Itrip Auto?

i hate to say this, but i hope not... i believe that this capability is where all the problems with the G5's ruining the right head phone come from.

that is the only reason i am planning on updating, as i don't even fill my 60 gig 5gen.

Replacing headphones every few months is getting crazy

Yes it should work. Clearly states in the specs.

I can't find anywhere in the specs where it says that the stereo jack still outputs video.
It only talks about the dock connector:
"USB through dock connector; component and composite video through dock connector (with AV cables or kit, sold separately); audio through headphone jack"
