Question Help - screen replacement problem

I was trying to replace the screen of my daughter's mini and instead of doing the easy thing (hindsight is wonderful!) and pulling the ribbon from the broken screen I ripped the connector from the motherboard. Anyone know if this can be fixed or do I trawl Ebay for another motherboard?

Thank you

sounds like you need a new motherboard, becasue getting that connecter back on is next to impossable. also, minis arent worth that much now, so replacing the mobo would be more expensive than buying a whole new ipod.
