I just purchased a new 80gb video ipod. Before this I used a 3g ipod with my current PC. I already have installed the latest iTunes on my PC. My question: when I connect my new 80gb ipod to my PC for the first time should I first insert the software CD that comes with the new ipod (and I assume install new ipod software) or can I just attach the new ipod?
Any info is much appreciated. |

If you have the newest iTunes software, then there is no need to use the iTunes CD. Mine didn't even come with a CD though
Just plug it in. I believe you will need to update the firmware, but I'm not sure. It's no big deal though. |
