please help!!! videos are songs???

hi everyone! my friend recently borrowed my ipod and plugged it into his laptop. when i got it back, i couldn't watch my videos anymore. they're all still there, but for some reason they're recognized as song files? when i plugged my ipod into my itunes, the movies folder was empty. and when i right-clicked on a video, there aren't any options where i can choose whether it's a movie/music video/tv show. the only options are for eq settings, which are for songs right? please help! i use the latest ipod software on a pc. thanks for any response! happy new year!
