SDRAM Full Test???

My new iPod 30g keeps blinking its light and gives the following message:
SDRAM Full Test
Please wait...
Run: BL on
Pass: BL blink
Fail: BL off
Reset to continue

I've been waiting for about 2 hours now and nothing seems to happen. Also trying to reset it (pressing the play button) does not seem to work.

What to do, what to do ?

Btw, I do know how to reset the iPod, it's just that I don't want this to happen again and what this means for my iPod.

So just to be sure, to reset the iPod you need to hold the menu and center buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen
