4 weeks and already a problem...

Dang, i only had my iPod for 4 weeks and it just broke my left earbud on the Apple ear buds (not the stock ones, i bought these from a friend a couple months ago and never had a problem)

Here's the story, i was watching a music video (left bud worked fine) and switched to a normal song and realized the left one wasn't working. I tried it in a different iPod, i plugged them into my computer, nothing from the left.

To make a long story short, i'm pretty mad, i hope it doesn't happen to any other headphones because i can't use those crappy stock headphones, they are way too big for my ears and hurt after using them for 5 minutes! (and i really don't want to use my good pair of headphones and maybe get them wrecked as well)

PS: happy 400th post

Have you check to see if your left earbud is clean? You may want to try a search for ways to cleanout ear gunk. One way I found to work is to put the bud in a stream of water then dry it with a can of compressed air.

Good luck!
