So I heard about everyone getting loose click wheels and things like that on the nano..and I have to come to the conclusion that the 5g 80's suffer from the same loose click wheels and etc..
does anyone that have a 5.5g also suffer from loose click wheel syndrome..? |

Sadly yes
My clickwheel is a little loose, and when pushing the menu button a certain way (nothing funny ) it rubbs against the hole the clickwheel is in.But i also have to say, that i don't think this to be a widespread problem, because otherwise you would see a lot more threads about it for sure. My new iPod is on the way and i hope it's ok this time^^ |

For the wheel to function properly, it needs a bit of room and just a tiny bit of wiggle. There should be an equal sized space around the center button and around the outer edge. Your wheel shouldn't rub or stick when you press any of the compass functions.
If your wheel rubs or sticks, have Apple repair or replace it. btw, this tiny gap is a great reason to get a case that protects the wheel area.
