Red face Please Help, Is My 5.5g Ipod Broke, Videos Do Not Play Correctly,plz Look!!!

here is the situation, i just sold my 5g 30 gb ipod and bought a 80 gb 5.5g video ipod, i put my video files on the 80 gb ipod, but when i play the videos there are these particles that appear all over the movie as it palys, it looks like green dust particles, but the crazy thing is these videos played clear on my last 30 gb video ipod, did apple change the video specs, or is my ipod just defective, please, please help me, i have windows xp and i have used xilisoft for converting video files to my ipod...

First, I would try converting the video files again. And if that doesn't work maybe try using another converter. I am using jodix and I'm very satisfied with it (it's free too). Try resetting the iPod, reinstalling iTunes and maybe restoring the iPod. If it's broken then you'll just get a replacement from apple. Just go to a store near you and they'll take care of it.

i used the jodix, same problem, i think it is only my ipod, because if this was happening to otehr people there would be more topics like mine

If you copied your movies from your iPod 30GB to your HDD and then to your 80GB then there's a chance the files may have become slightly corrupted.
Try re-reipping them as previosuly suggested.
