I upgraded to iTunes 7 and updated the firmware on my 30gb iPod. I let it go online and dl all those nice high res album covers, and then re-synced my iPod. The album art is in iTunes, but it won't go onto my pod. I have looked through all the settings and have found no reason for it to not sync the images.
Is tehre something special I have to do, or should this "just work"? |

This happened to me. Go to where it says "show album art on ipod" in itunes. Uncheck that and sync. When it is done, go back and re-check the box and sync again. It worked for me.

I have the same problem. I've even gone ahead and de-synced all the artwork from the iPod, and then re-synced but it didn't help at all. I'm completely out of ideas. Is there anything else I can do, short of simply doing a full reset & reloading all data to the iPod?

I had this problem and it was really wierd, the art was fine on iTunes but it would put things like genius or video screenshots on as album artwork. I think this is because I removed the iPod during a sync. The only way I could fix it was by completely erasing and re-syncing, which is very slow. Sorry.
