iPod restore won't allow me to update purchased songs

Hi Guys

I'm sure I'm missing something. I've done a firmware restore, which has worked great. However, I've tried to re-upload all my songs, and those that were purchased won't go onto the iPod.

Any ideas how I can get things working again?

Are they authorized to play on your computer? Play it in iTunes before transfering it to your iPod.
