Ipod Problem (skips first songs in playlist if it has an album cover)

hey, i recently got a 60 gb ipod. ive added album covers to about half of my albums, and ive noticed a problem. if i go to any playlist or album, if the first song in it has a cover, itll skip. this isnt a huge problem but its annoying if i put on an album and it automatically skips the song or if i go to a specific song, itll skip the song and make me find it all over again. Is there anyway to fix this? thanks a lot for any help

My son's does that, a 30GB like mine. He resets it after syncing and it goes away. When he syncs again, it comes back. Recent threads here indicate that it is a long standing bug.

It has been suggested to pause the first song long enough to allow it to load into the buffer, otherwise the system thinks it's a bad file for taking so long to load, and skips it.
