Saving Album Art for reformmating?

OK, just wanted to confirm..

If i save my itunes settings (forget what folder) will i get my album art along with it to put back to my songs when i reformat?

Album art is embedded within each song's native file, not in an iTunes setting. If you're backing things up, be sure to save the "iTunes Library.itl" and "iTunes Music Library.xml" files located in your iTunes folder -- those keep track of playlists, song ratings, play counts, etc.

no, saving your music files will save the album art that has been applied -- the art is embedded in the native file (*.mp3, *.m4a, etc.) i'm sure that you're backing up your music, so the comment about the two database files was just a reminder to back those up too.
