How do I transfer photos off of my Ipod to my 'new' computer

hi

i recently got a new hardrive, so i've technichally got a 'new' computer.

after ipodrip i was able to download my music off of my old ipod, onto my 'new' computer.

but there doesn't seem to be an app that will allow OS X users to transfer photos between computers.

any ideas?

It's been asked before, and I haven't seen anyone say they've done it. I suspect it can't be done: when you transfer photos (jpeg) to the Ipod, Itunes converts them (downsizes) during transfer to save space (don't need a big file for the little screen). I don't even know what format it converts them to. So even if you could somehow get them back they would be very low-res and maybe not even viewable on your pc.

that's not good news, i've lost about 2 yrs worth of photos/memories. oh well.

i think there is a way, but only if on your iPod settings (in iTunes) you checked off something along the lines of 'Include Full-Res Pictures' because then all the full resolution pictures would be moved to the iPod too. then there is a program for getting photos off your iPod, but i don't know the name of it
