Ive had a 2G Ipod for a year now and had a continuous problem that I didnt bother solving seeing as I lose interest in my iPod. I just recently got a 5G video Ipod that's incredible but shortly after I used it for a day I plugged it into my computer to charge and I got a message: USB device not recognized, a device attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it.
Ive looked all over the web in articles and in the Apple help but found nothing... I also won a 2 gig nano awhile ago and I have the same problem, I also just got my computer upgraded witha new processor and motherboard so it cant be that... PLEASE HELP ME! im a man with 3 iPods that dont work!!! *Cries* |

Does your ipods hard drive make a noise? If so you might need to go to apple for a replacement.
