IPOD Rant! I hate APPLE!

First of, I want to say I am a new 60GB Black Video Ipod user. I had the IPOD for already 1 week and its basically going to hell.

1. As soon as I bought the IPOD, I took it out with a microfiber cloth and put into a snug sumo case, where its completely protected, no way for it to get scratched. This week I took it out and its completely scratched to hell. Fine lines on the screen, all over the black part, everything.

2. iTunes is by far the worst piece of software invented by man. I don't know who developed this junk. Itunes always hangs with the IPOD and when the songs transfer it would get stuck for hours: "Do not disconnect" Which I enventually have to...

3. Movies on my ipod are there, but not seen anymore. Like the screen when u go to movies is blank, but you can select stuff and hear it. Terrible.

4. It hangs like a son of #####. Sometimes it wont turn off and I have to reset the damn thing.

5. Finally, Today I COULD NOT TURN THE IPOD OFF. I Could play music, adjust settings etc.. BUT IT WOULD NOT TURN OFF! Even the backlight would not turn off! What the hell!

Eventually, I got ####ed as hell pried the son of a ##### open and randomly started jabbing with extreme hate at the internal circuitry. Basically, take the scene from Office Space where the guy is beating the copy machine, and thats me and the ipod.

Anyways, I finally was able to turn off the ipod after beating the living #### out it. Now, I will go and return it, and never look back. I a, switching to the Creative M. Apple has lost a customer, and I was really pleased with it the first couple days too. Damn you Steve Jobs, and damn the IPODS. OVERPRICED, OVERRATED, WORST SUPPORT EVER, UNRELIABLE POS.

Well you can free yourself from all the iTunes restraints but using Rockbox, a free, opensource alternate firmware.

I can't imagine how stupid you have to be to not be able to figure out an iPod. It just boggles the mind.

Glad you wasted your money for the satisfaction of jabbing at the internals of the thing, that was the mature way to handle it. Oh, and since you were stupid enough to open it up you probably voided whatever warranty or return policy the place of purchase had. Hope you enjoy your $400 paperweight you moron.

Usually when an ipod hangs it's because you have a #### PC to start with.

How about the millions that love their ipod and when they do have a problem, they sort it out in a much more mature way.
