Help please! Sorting on the iPod

Ok guys, ive been at this for hours now. Im a new ipod user, and ive been loading up stuff on my brand new 60gb 5th Gen ipod. I cant figure out how this stuff sorts on the ipod. I have some episodes of TV shows, about 15 of them. When i highlight them all in iTunes, and drag them onto my ipod, they transfer alright, but when i go to my ipod i browse for them, and Half of them are in the Movies> section and half are in the TV Shows>Title> section (which is how i want them)

I tried rclickin them in itunes, and changing the genre to TV shows on all of them, i made sure the artist was the same (im assuming this changes Id3 tags) and that didnt work.

So, what im asking, is where do i find the info to change on these so they all go in the same place on my Ipod?

Im an organization freak and i have to have them all in the same place

Ive been all over the web lookin for answers, and got nothing.

Please help me out!

Ok, i think i found out how.. I went to get info > and changed video kind, but i can only do this one file at a time... any way to do this on a batch of files?

Edit: Maybe not. I changed the video kind, and now they arent even listed in movies.. still the same few in TV shows, but i cant even find the others now....

If you select them all at the same time, right click the mouse, and select INFO, you can change them all in one swoop.

I tried that, doesnt work with the 'video type' option. I did however find a remedy. I used some IpodTV program i found here, and although tedious, it works.

I don't know if it is an itunes or ipod software thing but if you manually change the video kind to TV Shows they don't show up there and are removed from the Movies section.

I created playlists for my TV shows and then I play them through the Video Playlist.
