Angry Locked Up!

Well, itsbeen a VERY LONG TIME since I posted here

Well a while ago i lost my 40GB 4th Gen iPod

Sop saved up some money and bought a new one (now has a 30GB Video iPod)
Currently it is only 4 days old and has been updated to the latest firmware (1.1)
Everything has gone fine till about 20 minutes ago, i was listening to some music and the battery was running low so i decideds to switch it off, but it wouldnt turn off, so i browsed through some menus, an dhas just locked up on the games menu. I have tried to reset it with no luck, connected it up to iTunes to try to do a restore, it wouldnt work (and some starnge reason my PC runs real slow when the USB cable is connected to the iPod, restarted the PC, and still have the same problems.
Connected it to the mains, still no luck!
Help please, I dont want to spend £220 just for it to die on me after 4 days.

Well solved it anyway when I tried the reset before (I was pressing select and play) thought it was like my 4th Gen lol.

well found out it was Menu and Select, so did that and now it works.
