I'm having a problem putting the viedos that I have on my playlist onto my ipod video. First I'd use the DVD decrypter to convert the videos and then vViedora to convert them to itunes. The movies would get on my playlist fine, but when I plug my ipod into my computer i get the message "Some of the songs in the iTunes library including "..." were not copied to the iPod because they cannot be played by this iPod."
I tried the "convert to mp3" button, but that doesn't do anything. Can anyone help? |

MP3 is an audio only compression.
Find the files in your library, irght click on them and there should be an option to "Convert Selection for iPod". Select that and it will grind away at converting the files. It will place a copy of the video into your designated itunes folder and keep the original where it is. Alternatively you could convert them into the correct format in Videora. In Videora under the Setup tab use the following one-click profile MPEG-4/320x240/768kbps Stereo/128kbps Click SAVE in the lower right hand corner. Go to the Convert Screen. Select the VOB you want to convert and the Quality Profile should match the above. This setting has always worked for me.

another thing, your videos have to be in a video only playlist, otherwise your ipod will not read them correctly, it might play video but not audio, set up a new playlist in your ipod folder and only put videos in there. As far as converting them to mp4, i've been using cucusoft ipod video converter for a while, or download vids straight from mp4 format by using limewire, works real well. got the cucusoft from them too, free

Keep in mind that Cucusoft's software isn't free. You likely did get it free from Limewire, but you've actually stolen software that should have cost you about 30 bucks.
Videora works great and it really IS free. No sacrifice of ethics required. Jim |
