I've been researching various cases and I'm beginning to think this type of case doesn't exist. What I'm looking for is a hard case that will completely enclose my iPod, which is already encased in a silicone jacket. This would be for when I want to transport it in my pocket or backpack. Problem is, the silicone case alone doesn't protect the LCD display or the click-wheel. Although I have applied a protective film over the surface of the iPod (except for the click-wheel), I don't want the display or click-wheel to be exposed to possible dings or hard knocks. Any ideas? I would prefer to keep the silicone case on the iPod, as it's esthetically pleasing.

I use a caselogic MP3-Player case to put my silicone skin in when it's in my backpack. I searched around for a case like this and all I could really find were relatively soft cases.
Here are two that I would recommend: Radtech Cocoon, it's pretty expensive but totally worth it I'm sure, if you can afford it. radtech.us/Products/CocooniPod5G.aspx This is what I have, I got it from J&R Computer and Music World for $9.99 caselogic.com/mp3_travel_accessory_kit/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=44255 Hope that helped. godanigo |
