Signs that the battery needs to be replaced?

- Itunes don't recognize it, however the compuer recognize it as F:/
- The tracks on the ipod don't play, just loads for 10 seconds and then it skips to the next, but no sound. While doing this, it's totally frozen.

On the other hand, the battery still works for like 8 hours and when it's empty, you can simply just reload it like you'de expect.

If there's nothing wrong with the battery, what is?

The hard drive is far more likely, but it does not sound to be a hardware failure at all. Try using an iPod Updater to restore it.

The biggest problem is the fact that you can't play any mp3 tracks on. Like i said, it loads for a few seconds and the skips to the next. The battery length works fine and everything else works like the games.

While i connect it to the computer, the computer recognize it as a drive but you can't enter it. However, Itunes and Ipod Updater doesn't regoznie it as a drive.

I've tryed to connect it to several different computers and USB-ports and it's the same problem everywhere.

Don't really know what you're asking exactly

I get this message now;

iTunes.exe - Device Timeout
The specified I/O operation on \Device\Harddisk1\DR2 was not completed before the time-out period expired.
